5-Amino-1MQ (5-amino-1-methylquinolinium) is a small-molecule, cell-permeable inhibitor of nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT) — an enzyme that methylates nicotinamide using S-adenosylmethionine (SAM) as the methyl donor.
